 Robert, Zach, and I biking on the Papio Trail, a 17 mile biking/walking trail along the Papio River, that is across the street from our apartment.

The Papio Trail travels along the river and a golf course on each side in one section.

Some of our visits to the zoo continued.

 Some cool varieties of butterflies above and below.  The one below had a beautiful brilliant blue side of its wings when they were open.

 Zach inside the Desert Dome.  It has a large sand dune to the right as you enter.  Amazing place!

 Robert and Zach in the Kingdom of the Night exhibit.  We were in a cave like atmosphere and bats and other night creatures are on display here.

 Hubbard Gorilla Valley.  They had several silver backs hanging out.

 

 The exhibit had a dome like feature where in extends out into the gorilla area so you feel like you are inside.  There is a silver back with his "back" to Zach.

 Zach in the Lied Jungle exhibit.  It is a 3-story or more building that you can view various animals in their environment on all levels.

 Amazing setting with waterfalls and plant life.  Down below there is water/pools and such with otters and fish swimming around.

We were here when they fed them and these two started to fight a little bit and it was cool!

Some Creighton soccer games....

 The first soccer game we attended was an exhibition game against Maryland.  Because school (Creighton) had not officially started yet, the stands were a little empty.  Their stadium is amazing.

 One game we came early and the girls women's team was playing Utah State University's women's soccer team.  We didn't know who to cheer for...

 This is the view going the opposite direction of the stadium entrance up towards campus.  School is now in session and the student section fills up.

 I love the evening sky on this one and you can see downtown Omaha behind the score board.

 At one game, my brother, his wife, and daughter stopped on their way to BYU-Idaho to see us and they came and watched the game for a bit!

Zach had won a gift card and chose to spend "his own credit card money" on candy at the game!

Last few days of summer mixed with new life at school!

 Even though school is full swing, Zach and I enjoyed the pool after school,

because it was sooooo hot!
